Chuck and Johnny met for the first time in 1984 and quickly became the best of friends.  After not seeing each other for a few years, they got back together one weekend in Chuck's new home, driving distance for Johnny.  That weekend brought us to this venture.  Chuck took Johnny shooting and although Johnny was an avid firearms enthusiast, nothing prepared him for the rush of shooting at 1000 yards.  Chuck's AWESOME Accuracy International AX308 made shooting and hitting targets at 1000 yards quite exciting!  Johnny got the itch.  Johnny's wife knew it and Chuck got in trouble, but we digress.  Let's just say a Desert Tech SRS with a 1/2 MOA accuracy is a wonderful rifle!

Johnny, however, lived in an area with no long ranges.  He was relegated to his 100-yard range.  How many times can you shoot a bullseye at 100-yard range with a gun that is capable of so much more??

So, the idea developed into how we could have more fun at the local range, while developing skills that would take us to the next level when we finally DID get to a long range.

And Virtual Range Targeting, LLC, and the Virtual Range Training System™ was born.
